Walmart Trip (Saved 60%)

I ran to Walmart to pick up a few things and I wanted to tell you about it. The Subtotal came to $26.84 and the final total was $10.64. I had my hubby with me and he did very well not throwing stuff into my cart. I used a variety of coupons from the internet, Sunday coupon inserts and coupons sent to me through the mail. My trip was cheaper than running to the Dollar Tree: 15 items for $12.71 with tax. Less than $1 per item.

If you notice the dog food coupons are worth more than the dog food. So the overage was sucked up by the other items.

Coupon Tip: If you have plenty of coupons or coupons for items that you do not plan to use, then spread them around. I gave away a diaper coupon to a new grandma buying her baby grandson diapers. I also snooped through a friends cart and gave her enough coupons to save her over $10 on the purchases in her cart. It is good karma and it makes everyone feel good.
