Free toothpaste and dishwasher soap at Rite Aid

For this project you will get paid to take the toothpaste and dishwasher soap out of the store.

Coupons you will need:
6 $1.50 off Rite Aid Value Video Aquafresh Toothpaste coupons from May's videos (6 VV accounts)
6 $1 off Aquafresh coupons printed from http://www.aquafresh.com/Savings.aspx (choose the full size tubes and hit the back button after printing the first the get the second coupon. Most site will let you have 2 of each coupon.)
2 $1.00 off Rite Aid Value Video Finish Dishsoap coupons from May's videos
2 $3.00 off Finish Dishsoap coupons printed from http://registration.rb.com/finishdishwashing.com/offers/

You will have to register at the sites, but the good news is that you will be on their mailing list for more coupons.

On page 3 of the Rite Aid sales paper is the sale on Aquafresh 2/$5. You want to buy 6 tubes since this will grant you a $5 UPS to use on your next shopping trip. Try to match the types of toothpaste to the coupon, but do not stress if they do not match since most cashiers see the Aquafresh name and push the coupon through.

The Finish Automatic Dishwasher Detergent sale is listed on the back page of the flyer. The secret to this deal is to purchase one of the $6.49 20 pack powerball tabs and any other soap at $6.49 or less. I picked up the powerball tabs and the box of powder since I get more dishwasher loads this way. Remember that the lower priced item is free in a BOGO (buy one get one free) deal. Keep the total above $6.00 but below the $8.00 total of the coupons. This deal pays out a $2 UPS.

So far the shopping list contains 6 tubes of Aquafresh and 2 boxes of Finish. In Grays Harbor WA tax is 8% and Rite Aid taxes the free item before it is free.

Here is the math for the deal at the prices I paid. $15 + $6.49 + $4.99 = $26.48 * 1.08 (tax) = $28.60
$28.60 - $4.99 free item = $23.61
- $15 in toothpaste coupons = $8.61
- $8.00 in Finish coupons = about $0.61 depending on if the machine rounds the half penny up or down
Remember to plug in your prices in place of mine. I have 2 Rite Aid stores nearby and one charges more than the other.

TIP: If you math comes out negative then throw in a cheap item like a candy bar or Easter candy. The cashiers begin to freak out if the total drops into negative. Always keep the total positive, even if it is only some pocket change.

At check out, give the VV coupons to the cashier first then the manufacture coupons next.

You should walk out with $7 of UPS. And a beginning of a stockpile. This deal can be done with just the toothpaste. The tax or out of pocket expense will be $1.20 for 6 tubes of toothpaste.
