October is the time to stock up on candy deals. Keep an eye on the sales fliers for the pre-Halloween sales. I have found that the best candy buys happen the day after Halloween. The stores do not want to have to put the candy away so they give deep discounts.
Baking supplies also start going on sale. The stores are gearing up for the holiday season.
