July 1 Coupon Sneak Peak

Almost Sunday and coupon time... This is also the season to stock up on ketchup and BBQ sauce. Look for the sales and coupons.

I am getting conflicting reports about coupon inserts. One source reports no inserts this weekend another says that it is just the Proctor and Gamble insert. So check the newspapers before you buy them. If there is no insert then it will be out next week.

Also check the local store ads for their special deals to lure you into the stores this weekend. One store here has corn on the cob for $0.17 each and another store is offering pork spare ribs for $1.59/lb. You can save a lot of money picking up deals at multiple stores. I always by enough meat for at least two meals. One for the next few days and another batch for the freezer for the end of the month.

End of Month Printing

Here is a reminder to set aside a little bit of time in the next 2 days and check out the printable coupon sites for those got-to-have coupons. These are the ones that you haven't printed out yet, but kick yourself halfway through next month because you did not print them. Most of these sites change their coupon listing near the first of each month... Here is the list of sites to check:

coupons.com  - Goes by zip code so try a few different ones - 44744 has some good ones

Wow! Fireworks coupons!

Here is a good one if you buy fireworks! Save $10 off $50 of TNT Fireworks. I know that this is good for us because we pick up $100 to $200 of fireworks each year. Now if I have all the adults in the house pick up $50 of fireworks each with a coupon, I can save $30.

Printable Del Monte Coupon

I love fresh fruit coupons. Here is a $0.50 off Del Monte Gold Sweet Pineapple. Yummy. I have seen these on sale between $1.00 to $1.99. Just look around and pick up for good stuff. My kids just eat it up after it is cut up, but I heard mention about pineapple jam. Sounds good to me...

Also here is a $2.00 off POM Wonderful juice. It has too many carbs for me to drink straight, but it is good tasting and will make a great addition to mixed drinks.

Homemade Bubble Mix Better Than Miracle Bubbles

I just picked up giant bubble wands at Rite Aid, and I am disappointed that the bubble mixture only pushes out one or two bubbles overall. Not nice. I read a recipe online for good bubble mix and tried it. It produces lovely, long lasting bubbles.

Mix gently together 1 cup water, 2 Tbsp. lite Karo syrup and 4 Tbsp. liquid dish soap. Cindy used green Palmolive, which gives the bubble mix a green tint but does not blow green bubbles. We then cut off the bottom tips of a plastic Pepsi bottle and dipped it into the mixture. It blew all sorts of cool bubbles. Looks like we will be stocking up on the Karo syrup to make more bubble mix.

Here is a Sneak Peek at Some of the Coupons this Sunday

Remember that you may not see all of these or you might find a different version because these coupons are regional, which means the coupons in New York will be different than the ones in Colorado.

Man it is nearly Sunday and I have to organize last Sunday's coupons.

Cheap Brachs Candy at Walmart

Walmart is sponsoring a coupon. This is a manufacture coupon so it can be used in all stores. It is $1.50 off two bags of Brachs.

This is a good deal at Walmart. Gummy worms, gummy bears and candy corn is $1.25 a bag, so it makes it better than buy-one-get one-FREE. The coupon math is 2 bags for $2.50 minus $1.50 coupon so the total is $1.00, which makes it $0.50 each.
