Here is a new printable coupon: $1 off any Reach toothbrush (except Crystal Clean toothbrush) or Reach floss product. If you look in Walmart the Reach floss is usually $0.88 or this can make for an inexpensive toothbrush. Unless it is an emergency, I do not pay for floss, toothbrushes or toothpaste any more. I have only put out a couple of dollars for dental floss picks for Lionel because he ran out without telling me and then had to have them NOW, instead of waiting for the sale.

I change the toothbrushes in the house every month and use the old ones for cleaning hard to reach places like around faucets and toilet seat hinges.

Oooh! I'm surprised. They released the P&G coupon insert a week early. So there are four inserts... Over $229 worth of coupons in coupon-freindly newspapers. So I just purchased over $900 worth of coupons for $4... Nice... Happy coupon clipping and sorting today....

Oh yeah, the Rite Aid Value Video Coupons changed last night, so I hope you watched the ones you needed for last month. I am going to have to watch the Tugaboos Baby Wipes $1 off 360 pack since baby needs those next week... Hope they are on sale..

3 Coupon Inserts This Sunday

There are 3 inserts in the "Good" Sunday newspapers: Red Plum, Smart Source and PepsiCo Moments. It is great that the PepsiCo insert is coming out now. They usually have only two to three week expiration dates, so getting the inserts at the first of the month is great for people on food stamps. Here is what is in the coupon insert (remember it is regional):

Ken's Salad Dressing is FREE at Safeway, if you have the right coupon. Other wise it is still cheap. The sale that runs through Tuesday has Ken's Salad Dressing for $0.99 a bottle and some lucky areas got a coupon for $1 off one bottle. The other coupon floating around there is $1 off two bottles, which makes the salad dressing $0.49 each. I haven't checked but I hope I have the $1/1 coupon.

Coupon Tip: Network with couponing sites to find the best deals. Usually someone else has spotted the buys and has posted it to their blog.

Free Sample of Finish Dishwashing Soap

Finish Dishwashing soap is a really good brand so if you can get a free sample you will be on their mailing list for coupons. Riteaid puts these on sale for buy-1-get-1-free. That is the time to use your coupons. Just LIKE the Finish Dishwashing Facebook page and hit the GET SAMPLE button in the middle of the ad. Fill out the form and they will send you your sample.

Earthbound Farms Organic Program

Earthbound Farms Organic is running promotion encouraging people to eat more fruits and vegetables, basically their products. They are offering coupons like $0.75 off Power Greens. Today it is a coupon for $0.75 off blueberries. I know that Safeway carries this brand in my area. There is supposed to be $50 worth of coupons trickling out of this site. Just sign up and look at the promotions section to collect the back offers and wait for the new offers...

Coupon Tip: Online mailing lists are great when the company has products that you will use, but other times it just seems like spam. Pick and choose you lists carefully. One idea is to set up a separate email address to use for couponing.

FREE Dentyne Gum at Rite Aid

Rite Aid is running a sale on gum, but it is the Dentyne gum that I have a coupon for that I am interested in.  The sale is $1 per pack with a $2 +UP reward when you buy 3 (limit of 4 rewards). The coupon is $1 off of two packs. Here is the math.

Coupon Tip: Try to buy something cheap without tax like a $0.20 sucker or some other item to give the store a total in the positive. When the total is $0.00, it tends to freak out the cashiers and they have to call the store manager. So anticipate this move before check out.  Coupon Tip: The value and release of some coupons are on a regional schedule only known to the developers of the coupon inserts. One area of the country might get a $1 off 2 boxes of pasta coupon, while the other area get lucky and find a $1 off 1 box of pasta. This difference in coupon distribution allows people to sell their coupons on eBay and other sites.

Facebook has a new printable coupon an the Barilla site. This is a really good one. It is $1 off one box Barilla Whole Grain Pasta. This go on sale here every month for $1.00 or $1.25 a box. Time to get some lasagna or fettuccine noodles... I usually feed my family pasta once or twice a week so I am excited about this coupon. Remember to print off two copies.

Coupon Tip: You can print two copies of most coupons from EACH computer hooked up to your printer. Which means if you have two laptops and a desktop, you should be able to print six copies of the Barilla coupon.

Oh joy! FREE cookies at Walmart! There is a $2 off any schar product coupon on the internet. Schar Hazelnut Wafers are $1.67, which means Walmart will pay you to buy these cookies if you can find them.

Facebook is great for collecting coupons. You usually just have to “Like” the company and possibly fill out a short form. Just depends on if the company has a newsletter or promotional mailing list. Just do not print every coupon you find. This will cost you more in printer ink and paper. It would be silly for me to print cat food coupons, but I do use popsicles.

Oh this one is nice... I was going to take the time and match up a few store deals with coupons and then this baby grabbed my attention - $2 off any Neosporin Antibiotic product. This is a real handy product in my household. Someone always has an ouchie. This coupon does not have a size listed, which makes it a coupon that might make a small tube or spray FREE. Remember to print it twice and start price comparison shopping.

Coupon Tip: The coupons that score free items are usually the ones without a size restriction on them. They also do not contain the blurb "trial size excluded."

Here is a yummy printable coupon $0.75 off two bags of Werther's Original Caramel variety. This is a great coupon and lets you get the bags for around $0.50 each. Look for them in Walmart, Target, Rite Aid or any where else.

Coupon Tip: Printable coupons are usually good for one month after you print them so they give you a little bit of time to find the best deal.

Kashi Stem Meals Printable Coupon

Kashi just sent me a promotion in my e-mail. They now produce stem meals that are quick to fix and always good on a busy day. The coupon is $1 off one meal (Remember to use the back button to print two copies). Look for sales introducing this item and then use the coupon on the deal.

Coupon Tip: Fill out the forms and give companies your contact information. This put you on their mailing lists for internet coupons and coupons by mail.

FREE Fly Swatters at Walmart

There is a $1 off any 1 Black Flag product coupon released in some of the coupon inserts today. This means FREE Black Flag fly swatters or fly papers at Walmart. These products are usually priced at $0.98 at most Walmarts. These products will go fast. The only good news is that Walmart usually restocks the shelves daily.

COUPON TIP: Most Walmarts will take off the face value of the coupon from the total on the cart purchases.

Natural Bliss Coupon on Facebook

I was trying to think about what to write about this morning and then this little coupon popped up on Facebook.

Coffee Mate Natural Bliss Coupon gives you $1.00 off of one bottle... This is a great coupon. I find this on sale quite a bit for about $1.99 so it makes the creamer only $0.99. My favorite flavor is Italian Sweet Cream. It is not over powering and it cools while it sweetens my morning coffee...Too bad I cannot find my last bottle of it. I think the baby drank it and then stashed the bottle...

COUPON TIP: Facebook and other social media sites are a great source of coupons. The companies try to connect directly to their customers and make some great offers to lure you in.

Sunday's Inserts for April 15th

Well it is nearly time for the weekly influx of coupons from the Sunday newspaper. The really good newspapers will have three inserts: (2) SmartSource and (1) RedPlum.

When I first started couponing I compared newspapers in my area and discovered that the Tacoma News Tribune carries all the inserts, while the Seattle Times only gets one or two on Sundays. Now I go to the Dollar Tree and pick up four copies of the Tacoma paper for a grand total of $4. I make sure that I use $4 worth of coupons each week to pay for the papers.

I nearly fainted the other day when some lady purchased panty liners in the checkout line in front of me. I could not believe that she paid a whopping $8.47 for a 36-pack. There wasn't anything special to them. My cupboard is full of the smaller 12-packs, which I paid $0.01 for each by price matching at Walmart. I was in shock, because I do not buy them for more than $0.50 a pack.

Zevia soda is sending out free samples of their soda to new fans. Just fill out the form to get your sample. The special thing about this soda is that it is made mainly with Stevia, which is a sweetener from the stevia plant. Very good for diabetics. I've tried several flavors and I like the Ginger Ale the most. It settles an upset stomach.

Every few months, I see coupons for $3 off a 6-pack. This is a great deal when the soda goes on sale for $3.99. So the price ends up being $0.99 per 6-pack.

COUPON TIP: Even if you have tried the item before, sign up for the free sample. The company might send out a coupon with the sample, and you end up on their mailing list for promotional items.

Cheap Razors, Lights and No-touch Kitchen System at Rite Aid this Week

I plan on going to Rite Aid today for a couple of items to add to my stockpile.

Bic Twin Razors 10 count is on sale for $2.99. The store is giving a $2 +UPs reward back for each one you buy with a limit of 4 offers. I know that I have $2 off 1 pack coupons.

I will then turn around and purchase GE white light bulbs, which I have a total of one light bulb left in my stockpile. All the kitchen light blew at midnight the other day so it was nice to go to the stockpile to get them instead of running out to the store. I swear this house is subject to power surges. The 4pk bulbs are on sale for $2.99 giving $1+UPs for each on purchased with a limit of 2. I have $1 off 1 coupons.

I am also after one of the Lysol No-Touch Kitchen Systems for $6.99 with no ups reward. I have a $3 off 1 coupon and a $3 mail-in rebate to use. No +UPS rewards on this item, but I plan on not paying much for it.

Here is my shopping scenario broken into two trips since I am starting with no +UPs Rewards:

COUPON TIP:
When figuring out the sales tax (if you live in an area that taxes purchases) there are two ways that stores do it. My Rite Aid taxes the before coupon total. Some stores calculate the tax after the coupons have been deducted. To find out your store's method, purchase a $1.00 item using a coupon. Then do the math. For 8% tax before coupon would be $0.08 and after would be $0.04.

Stocking Up on Soy Sauce

Kikkoman Soy Sauce for Less Than $0.50 a Bottle

A couple of months ago I picked up a handful of coupons off a display in Safeway for $1.00 off any size Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce. So they have been sitting in my coupon collection since before Christmas. Most of the stores that I priced the sauce in have been the large bottles for $3 to 5.

I walked into the local market, Swansons, and priced the soy sauce. The small bottles were $1.33, so after the coupon they came out to be $0.33 each. I will admit it. My hubby and I cleared the shelf, which was 11 bottles. Now I can add one bottle to my spice cupboard and place the other ten in my stock pile.

Coupon Tip: Even if you do not need the item right away, grab a few of the coupons off the displays in the stores. I find that I tend to use the coupons in a different store to get a better deal.

Happy Easter!!!

The clearance happens this week between 50% and 75% off. Later it is 90% off. The stores want the candy gone before the summer season...

Request a Free Splenda Sample

Splenda has a couple of new types of sweetner and offers FREE samples sent through the mail. Usually these arrive with a high value coupon. There is a limit of two requests per person. As a diabetic, these are perfect to put in my purse in case my hubby drags me out to eat and they do not have Splenda available.

The Splenda homepage also has printable coupons for Splenda that refresh once in a while so after you use the first batch, check back to print another batch. I like this site, because it offers recipes as well. I have a sweet tooth so I appreciate desserts made without sugar.

COUPON TIP: Free samples are great. They give you a chance to try a product without committing to a full-sized item. Most of the time, the company gives out good coupons with the sample.

Good Deal at Safeway on Campbell's Cream Soup

Campbell's Cream of Mushroom and Cream of Chicken is on sale for $0.75 a can. This is a good deal, but with the $0.40 off four cans manufacturer coupon it is $0.65 a can. I had some $0.40 off of two cans coupons hanging around so I grabbed six cans for $0.55 each.

I haven't seen soup for less than $0.79 a can for a couple of years. I purchased eight can of each flavor using coupons and stocked up on the cream soup. Lionel cooks a good beef roast using Cream of Mushroom soup and onion dip mix, which makes a gravy while it cooks... Yummy.

Coupon Tip: Match the number of items to the number specified on the coupon.

FREE Allegra at Walmart

There was a high value Allegra coupon in the newspaper last Sunday. Take a look since only part of the United States received this coupon. It is $7 off any size Allegra Allergy Tablets. This comes in handy for allergy season. It expires on April 8, 2012 so find it quick.

I picked up three boxes of 5 count Allegra at Walmart, which has it on sale for $5.94. My Walmart gives back the overage with not problem if it applies to the items in my cart of I was able to have $3.24 taken off the total bill. I cleared the shelf since there was only three and I had four coupons.

Coupon Tip: Walmart has a very good policy, but some cashiers do not respect the corporate policy. Read and take the policy with you in case of trouble, but do not expect problems. Walmart is supposed to give you the overage and apply it to your cart purchase. If they do not, either speak up and ask to take to the head cashier or return the items in question and come back another day. DO NOT THROW A TEMPER-TANTRUM. This will get you banned from Walmart.

High Value Gold Peak Tea Coupon

There is a printable Gold Peak Tea Coupon for $0.75 off one 18 oz bottle coupon.com. This is a great coupon to use when the tea bottles are on sale. I used mine at Safeway since the bottles were on sale 10 for $1.00 or $1.00 each. So I grabbed two of the diet for my diabetic hubby for $0.25.

TIP: When printing the coupon, hit the back button to try to get 2 copies. Most coupons will print twice before the print limit appears. Always check coupon.com for new printable coupons a couple of times a week. They pull the coupon from the site when it meets its print limit, so the first of the month is the best time to get these coupons.

Good Prices on Meat at Safeway

Went shopping yesterday as Safeway and I found hamburger tubes on sale for $2.29 lb. for 3 pound rolls. Seems like the $1.99 per lb hamburger may be gone, but this is close.

Easter hams are one sale for $0.99 per pound (limit 1). That makes a 10 lb. ham $9.90... I picked up three and gave one to a friend who is short on food.

Look around the Service Center for the large coupon flyer for some other great deals. The best deals are found when you combine the store coupon with the manufacture coupon.

Great Deal on Eggs and Peepsters

Find the eggs on special this week like $0.99 and use the coupon and pay only $1.43 for 2 dozen... I don't happen to live new a store with this kind of deal. My workaround is to grab the ad from Fred Meyers and price match it at Walmart... I could print out 2 coupons so the kids' Easter eggs are going to cost less than $3.00...
